Responsibilities
I was given a huge amount of responsibility during my placement at L'Oréal. I had sole responsibility in setting up pricing for our customers so it was extremely important that I completed the task correctly.
Support & Guidance
My Line manager and the wider team were extremely helpful and made it clear that they were available to support and guide me at any point.
Culture
From the onset, the company's atmosphere has been welcoming, inclusive and relaxed. While working at home, we had a number of virtual events which really boosted morale significantly. However, going into office we had a number of social event and team bonding activities which really emerged the interns into the team and made us feel welcome.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at L'Oréal. I have gained invaluable experience that will stand by me in any job role in the future and I would be eager to go back.
Yes
The interview process is lengthy and challenging but necessary when you start the role and see what it involved. The interview is quite relaxed so be confident and out going, ensuring you make it known that you are willing to learn. There is a case study assessment which was quite intense but the interviewer tries to make the experience as realistic as possible. Again, be confident in what you are saying and do not be afraid to voice your ideas.
