Days varied between being with our assigned supervisor or having activities planned by the graduate recruitment team. With my supervisor, tasks were arranged by him which included researching, sitting in on calls, going to court etc. On days where we were with graduate recruitment, we had time to plan our assessed project, attended talks, discussions and socials

Yes. I've enhanced my note-taking skills, interpersonal skills when meeting clients or senior colleagues and developed my creative thinking as there was a big focus on innovation and creativity in tech - something with which I had had little experience

The graduate recruitment gave a good sense of career progression and next steps to take to work within the firm. It was extremely exciting to see the work that the firm does in person and in action. I found it particularly encouraging talking to senior colleagues and hearing about how they worked their way up the firm

Extremely friendly and approachable! One of the main reasons I want to work at the firm. Everyone was trusting, supportive and genuinely interested and invested in the interns, wanting to spend time getting to know them or explaining concepts to them. I understand that culture is maintained throughout the hierarchy of the firm too

Be genuine. I realised that the grad recruitment are extremely talented at spotting those who are genuinely enthused and passionate about working for them and spotting those who would be a good fit for the firm. The best way to sell yourself is to be yourself.
