Overview
I had a lot of admin to do - this includes preparing for events and making sure it is all logged correctly. Answering student questions and attending events virtually and in person to promote opportunities to join PwC
Skills
I have developed so many skills this year. My confidence and public speaking has dramatically improved. My ability to time manage, delegate and work professionally has also significantly developed. This has been a great placement and I feel far more employable now than I did at the start of my year in industry.
Responsibilities
Yes! You are really not treated like an intern at PwC, they really trust you to be a key part of the team. I have learnt so much from this and have had the responsibility to promote PwC at events in front of thousands of students.
Support & Guidance
Lots of support. There were 10 other placement students, the team is lovely and you have a career coach and buddy to look after you!
Culture
The company prides itself on it's culture and people and it has been great to work here. My team is really kind and fun and they constantly try to help you. Dress for your day and flexible working are great and I honestly can't imagine myself working anywhere else
Your Impressions
I would recommend this placement to anyone! Although at times it is stressful and can be challenging it is definitely worth it and I have grown so much thanks to this placement
