Overview
My role changes daily. Usually it involves interacting with other areas of the company on calls and email in order to get answers for the customer. It also involves regularly creating customer- friendly material, utilizing the responses from other areas of the business.
Skills
Yes. I have been given the same responsibility as a team member who is not on placement. This has allowed me to vastly improve my professional communication skills. I have also gained a vast knowledge in a subject area that I knew very little about when I began the placement.

I have been given the same responsibility as any other team member not on placement. This has allowed me to really integrate into the company and get a full understanding of the industry.
Support & Guidance
The "default" training assigned by the company was sometimes lacking. It occasionally had out of date links/ software and I initially found it difficult to find out who to contact for specific issues due to this. The training supplied by my manager has been brilliant. He really wanted to help me learn and develop, I think that this is the main reason that I have really thrived in this placement.
Culture
The company culture is very good across the board. Everyone I have met has been so happy to help and really seems invested in whatever you need. Even though it is such a big company, I still feel like I've been treated as an individual.
