Overview
My role involves working within a cross functional study team to deliver clinical trials on time and on budget. Day to day tasks include but are not limited to taking meeting minutes, leading the development of study documentation, filing documents in the trial master file, and overseeing third party vendors.
Skills
My role has greatly improved my leadership skills as clinical operations are at the centre of the study team. My written and verbal communication skills have also been improved.
Responsibilities
I was given a lot of responsibility during my placement. By the end, I was accountable for a handful of my own studies.
Support & Guidance
I had a lot of support and guidance throughout my placement, be that through my line manager, mentor, or other SDLs.
Culture
GSK is a great place to work. Everyone is more than happy to spare some time to help you on any issues and people are always friendly.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement and would recommend it to anyone who's considering applying.
