Overview
Engineer supporting production lines and innovation projects as well as development courses and work based assignments
Skills
Developed confidence within my own abilities, communication skills with working across the company and presentation skills through courses. Lots of technical understanding and development of computer and software skills.
Responsibilities
Given many responsibilities as project lead to coordinate and carry out activities. Lots of independence with good support throughtout.
Support & Guidance
Weekly 1-2-1s with my manager as well as being paired up with a mentor for support. Largely friendly environment and people keen to help. Learning & development courses and reviews to monitor progression.
Culture
Very unique culture based off Toyota Way and Japanese way of doing things. Members loyal to the company and work together. Friendly environment.
Your Impressions
Felt like I had meaningful work and lots of responsibility. Large cohort meant lots of other grads and IPs to get to know and socialise with.
