Overview
We had a packed schedule where we would complete interactive tasks as well as being given the opportunity to ask questions to senior members of staff around the country.
Skills
My understanding of technical language has improved. I also used G Suite for the first time as I am used to the Microsoft systems. Furthermore I feel like my curiosity for the line of work has been encouraged.
Business Insight
It was really valuable hearing from current associates and the way the OneDeals programme is structured at pwc. I also got learn about more work that they do and have a more in depth understanding.
Culture
It was really positive everyone was really eager to answer questions and make sure you felt confident in what you were doing. I appreciate that they still had other work on however this didn't impact how friendly and open they were.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed it and found it beneficial for someone who is thinking of joining the company. I would have liked to explore the ESG side of business more as it's something I am really interested in.
Yes
Be honest in your application be honest about your journey in arriving there. I do French and History and explained how I had not been exposed to finance when I was younger and instead had to find out for myself.
