Overview
I and a small group of interns spoke with professionals at the company online as well as sitting in on meeting and asking many questions to different people in PwC from graduates to partners and learning different inside and outside the audit role
Skills
I leant how to ask questions regardless of how simple they may seem to gain a better insight for myself
Business Insight
I appreciated the honesty of workers at PwC and after joining the programme with very little knowledge of the audit role, I can now say that I have gained enough knowledge to start planning potential areas I would like to work in after graduation realistically. The work is so vast it was very difficult getting a strong grasp of what is done as each person and project is different but it has motivated me to try and get more hands on experience
Culture
Company culture is very lively and friendly. There is a lot invested into company bonding and wellbeing. I know that if I joined I won't be alone as people would have taken the route I have and many who have been there longer and relate and empathise. There are many opportunities to reach out to senior members as well
Your Impressions
I enjoyed working and talking to other people on the programme though I believe I would have enjoyed it more on sight, it hasn't decreased my motivation in exploring the company further and gaining more experience with them
Yes
Be yourself, asking questions and get the most out of it for yourself to see if it really would suit you and your future
