Overview
Having meetings/ catch-ups with tax associates from different tax departments and asking questions about how they got to their position , what they do, what pwc offers etc.
Skills
Yes I have developed new skills regarding my approach to reports and financial statements.
Business Insight
All information given was detailed and if we wanted to know more about a department and our associate we were shadowing didn't know much about certain roles then it was made sure that meetings were set up with people who could answer our questions better
Culture
The staff were all very friendly with each other and welcoming to us.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed it but I would have preferred to be able to watch meetings so I could get more involved in the actual work
Yes
Make sure to get involved as much as possible and take advantage of all these opportunities and ask every question you have no matter how silly you think it is.
