Overview
I was able to meet a number of workers that provided me with first-hand experience of working under PwC. These sessions were very insightful and motivating for me as I have become more interested to work with the company in the future. The work buddy that I was assigned to was very patient and helpful in teaching and guiding us about the ins and outs of the company.
Skills
I have developed my communication skills. I've come to understand how to converse with professionals in a business setting although I do feel that I can be better at this. I am glad that my experience in PwC will act as a catalyst for me to develop my communication skills.
Business Insight
The workers, especially my work buddy, was very helpful in explaining all these potential roles as well as provided us with ample resources to further look into the business.
Culture
The company culture is very flexible, as it gives the employees the opportunity to work from home or at the office. Employees are also able to try out a variety of career progression opportunities. I think the company is also very supportive in helping everyone to succeed.
Your Impressions
I find it very enjoyable as I was able to meet working individuals as well as learn from UK's leading auditing firm, which is an industry that I really do aspire to work in the future. Having such a great support system and a helpful team along the way made the experience even more memorable.
