Overview
The programme involved a range of activities including talks with partners, shadowing meetings and doing some training. It also involved a lot of groupwork activities and getting to speak to your assigned 'buddy' for the three days.
Skills
Ability to do initial research on a company for an audit and present my findings appropriately. More about life at PwC and an insight into their values and what they are doing in terms of ESGs and D&I.
Business Insight
Really interesting and useful. The programme allowed me to research further into the roles and training available to me if I were to join the firm after graduation. It also helped me to understand if the culture and the people in the organisation fit my own values.
Culture
Extremely positive, welcoming and friendly. Everyone who I spoke to was approachable and informative, keen to share any advice or answer any questions.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed the insight. I gained a lot of information out of the experience, met a lot of new people and would highly recommend it.
Yes
The application process is long but if you put the work in, prepare well, do thorough research on the company and be yourself it is a highly rewarding experience. Even the application process in itself is rewarding as you gain a lot of experience and feedback from going through each stage.
