Overview
Each day was different working at Pulp Riot, it was a very dynamic environment. I spoke to our core distributors to ensure they have everything for a marketing campaign. Organising education events across the professional products division to recruit new artists.
Skills
Developed strong communicational skills and built a strong rapport working at L'Oreal. Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word were the core skills that were enhanced as well as presentation skills.
Responsibilities
I was responsible for numerous projects such as leading bi-monthly marketing campaigns, procuring blog content and organising important events to educate the hairdressing industry. My line manager supported and entrusted me with a smooth and efficient result.
Support & Guidance
I was being trained at each and every step during my placement. Whether it was my professional skills being developed or my personal skills- the support I received during this experience was terrific. I built a strong working relationship with my team where we stood by each other's successes and failures if any.
Culture
The company culture is more towards exceeding your capabilities. The company works towards building an individual for their future career but at the same time gives them a sense of confidence. All the colleagues at L'Oreal are friendly and always helpful when it comes to any doubts.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed my placement massively and experienced lots of new things in the firm. I have built some strong connections and friendships that I will always remember in my path to success.
Yes
Always be open to learning new things in a difficult environment. It helps you to come out of your comfort zone and helps you find a better version of yourself.
