Overview
My role includes attending daily meetings with my team, updating and fixing code, and testing wherever necessary. I also attend meetings for any projects I am part of outside my main role.
Skills
I have learnt several new programming languages, e.g. C, Java etc. I have also been exposed to new frameworks and tools. I have also been introduced to design thinking.
Responsibilities
I was given the opportunity to help mentor a workshop, alongside providing education documentation.
Support & Guidance
I was given education when I joined, the members of my team were also very approachable if I had any questions.
Culture
The company culture is very open and friendly, you are encouraged to get involved in as much as possible.
Your Impressions
I have massively enjoyed my placement, I have managed to get involved in a variety of projects and have built upon several skills, and learnt many new ones in the process.
