Overview
The day to day role is very varied with each day being different. The general themes of the job involve maintenance improvement, RBM RCA and FMEA assessments.
Skills
I have learnt a lot of new technical skills on how to carry out engineering assessments. I have developed project management, teamwork and people management skills whilst on this placement.
Responsibilities
Yes. I was given a lot of responsibility on a variety of projects. This included project managing installation projects and also given the chance to develop new technology that had not been used at my site before.
Support & Guidance
The Barnard Castle site which I worked on was extremely supportive and helped to push my development
Culture
The culture is a very positive and inclusive place. There is a no blame culture where people work well as a team to solve challenges
