Responsibilities
Yes, we had stakeholders and meaningful work we had to do for the team that meant that we had to manage. We were involved in a lot of projects from our supervisors that meant we could shadow and get exposure to the business.
Support & Guidance
Line manager gave monthly 1-1s which was very useful for me to get into the role & ask for advice. Access to Data Science Mentor which helped me develop skills, wider team supervised me with 1-1's bi-weekly and was always there to help. Access to resources and always people willing to help.
Culture
A lot of Company wide events, i.e CEO [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] came to Hursley to visit. Weekly Tea & Biscuits, a lot of Intern BBQs etc. Giveback Projects that you could be involved in. A lot of choices to join sports events
Your Impressions
Team was very friendly they made it easy to join and get in with. Work has the right amount of responsibility and free time to work on other things like giveback etc. Company Culture is very relax. However, expected a lot of developer focused work which is not always what is given. Would go back
Yes
Stay calm in assessment centres, prepare before interviews, make sure you work as a team properly during them.
