Overview
Residential development predominately red book valuation reports, mainly for secured lending, on residential development land, residential portfolios, and high-value single houses. I have had experience in the comparable and residual methods, with some basic investment method experience too. I have been responsible at various times for making inspection notes, measuring, doing environmental / planning due diligence, researching comparable evidence, writing reports and reaching conclusions on value.
Skills
Level of diligence and attention to detail would be my principle takeaway from the placement. Learning how to produce work that is client ready.
Responsibilities
Yes definitely, I produce entire reports and my line managers alter them and give me feedback. These reports can take weeks to prepare,

More than enough, I have regular calls with my line managers and bi-annual appraisals. Even when the office was going through a comprehensive refurbishment.
