Overview
Assisting in the leasing, letting and advisory work that the London In-Town retail team were doing. This involved working across numerous directors to get a great with of understanding acting for both landlord and occupier clients.
Skills
Throughout my placement i have had to develop all aspects of my skills. I have gained great confidence communicating both with clients and with my team. They also gave me a great balance of structure and independence so i have had to learn to be self disciplined.
Responsibilities
Yes, i was treated as an equal in my team and those around me trusted me negotiating deals, talking to clients, and providing advice (all under the appropriate supervision)
Support & Guidance
There are many different places to access support or guidance at Savills. This could be from my team, HR, other placement students, or almost anyone in the company would be more than happy to help should you need it
Culture
The company culture was, fun, energetic and very encouraging

Yes
Be yourself, no one expects you to be at a chartered surveyor level when you apply, just show plenty of interest in the industry and willingness to learn.
