Overview
The role involves setting up pricing on the system as well as managing orders so they go through at intended price. Another element is verifying overcharge claims and looking at how they can be prevented moving forward to ensure the customer is billed correctly.
Skills
The role has further developed my communication skills through working across different parts of the business. My technological skills have been improved significantly through exposure to both new software and familiar software but at a greater depth.
Responsibilities
As my team was comprised of only me and my manager, I was given a high level of responsibility straight away and my manager was very receptive to my suggestions.
Support & Guidance
My manager was very supportive and ensured I was comfortable with my role. Placement support throughout was fairly minimal but thankfully this was not needed
Culture
Very unique culture and interesting to learn about the hierarchy. Ultimately I think this is an area the company needs to improve to create a more comfortable environment.
Your Impressions
Had a strong relationship with my manager, however I feel the role was a bit repetitive and by the end of the year was less stimulating for me. Overall a good experience and has definitely improved my understanding of the workplace.
