Overview
The role involves food safety for innovation projects. As a student there are also student led projects to get involved with. The job encompasses working cross functionally with various teams across the business.
Skills
Skills learnt and developed: Presentation, communication, leadership, teamwork, time management
Responsibilities
Lots of responsibility was given during the year and the opportunity to lead certain projects.
Support & Guidance
Lots of support was given when required throughout the placement and guidance given as and when needed.
Culture
The company culture was brilliant. I was always treated with kindness and respect and the atmosphere was always friendly and welcoming. A great place to work.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement, from the projects I was working on to the opportunities I was given to learn more about the food industry as a whole. My team were amazing and so welcoming, always getting me involved in projects and work.
Yes
When applying be yourself and show your personality. When in an assessment centre or interview this will allow those assessing to get a feel for you as a person and your work style. Also prepare! Practice before the interview so you feel prepared.
