Overview
The week began with a series of talks about the firm, its diversity initiatives, how its grown in the last decade and importantly its’ practice areas. All of this helped increase my knowledge of the firm and understand if it was a place I could see myself. There was also two days of work shadowing with an associate, which showed their work streams and allowed me to learn more about the role of an employee.
Skills
I think this has helped me grow in confidence and find a way to put myself out there.
Business Insight
It was detailed and informative and clearly showed the difference between attending an hour insight presentation versus a whole week with the firm.
Culture
Everyone was very welcoming and seemed open to answering questions about the firm and the work it is they do.
