Overview
On desk with a team within CBSF. Work on projects for clients that typically involve structuring loans, credit analysis, team meetings. Internship also requires a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project with other interns, where we have to organise a fundraiser or volunteering.
Skills
Learnt lots about accounting and corporate finance. Particularly credit analysis. Lots of networking opportunities also.
Responsibilities
Yes, involved in real time-pressured deals for clients.
Support & Guidance
Lots of support available. Have a line manager in each time and two weekly 1-to-1’s a week. Given a buddy (graduate) who you can set up weekly catchups with. Everybody very friendly and approachable can get help from everywhere.
Culture
Very friendly. Everyone approachable. Very collaborative. No hierarchy, can speak to senior people. Very strongly encouraged to network and speak to people across the business over coffee.
