  • 1. Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
  • The first four days consisted of talks from senior members of the firm and graduate recruitment, networking with all UK, Dubai and Dublin interns and group exercises. Culture

  • 4. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • There was many social events both in London and in my office, and everyone was very friendly. One of the external sports clubs in the Edinburgh office for instance is the mixed touch rugby team. There are a wide range of diversity initiatives that you can join in the firm and has diversity-encouraging strategies and statistical transparency. DLA also put a strong emphasis on its ESG and pro-bono work - this is extremely impressive.

  • 8. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to DLA Piper
  • The process is purposely made as straightforward as possible. The application only having one written question - so focus on making that question great! In preparation for the assessment centre, make sure you give yourself time to set up your work station (if online), get yourself a drink, make sure you have your charger and a set of headphones. During the AC remember to listen to others and show your personality. GOOD LUCK!
