Overview
• Administering Travelport's performance management software, Learning Management Software) and recognition tool. This involved pulling reports, overseeing the roll-out of new features, communicating updates to the business, and resolving employee queries. • Organizing bi-weekly onboarding sessions for new joiners across Europe, including Payroll, IT, People Services, and a general ‘Welcome to Travelport’ session. • Choosing, and working with internal comms to promote, a monthly Learning Focus. I’d organize a speaker to present on the subject area.
Skills
Improved communication and presentation skills. Also gained a lot of experience in all applications of Office 365. Now very comfortable using Excel.
Responsibilities
Level of responsibility increased throughout the year. Given full ownership of some projects.
Support & Guidance
Assigned a mentor, as well as your manager. Both of which are very invested in your development.

It’s a very good placement if you’re looking for experience and opportunities that go beyond only your role. CSR is a large feature of the placement, and the company places a large focus on interns’ professional development during your time there.
