Overview
Week 1 - Attending talks, workshops and networking events in the London Office. Week 2/3 - sitting in a practice group each week and completing set work tasks in the Manchester Office.
Skills
Yes - prioritisation, drafting, attention to detail, presentation skills, legal research, note taking at meetings.
Business Insight
We had daily insight sessions which provided insight into the different practice groups and sectors in which DLA Piper operates.
Culture
Amazing - the people at DLA Piper are some of the kindest and most welcoming people I've ever met. Everyone in the office was happy to take time out of their day to help you or to answer any questions you had. The culture DLA Piper promotes on the website is a reality.
