Overview
Audit in the centre of excellence involves examination of pensions' disclosures. This involves examination of pension debt valuations provided.
Skills
I have familiarised better with pensions theoretically, and worked in large groups. This improved my communication, teamworking, project management skills.
Responsibilities
I was not given much responsibility during my internship given the 4 weeks duration.
Support & Guidance
I received a lot of support and guidance from my buddy during my time at PwC. He has been facilitating my work and providing me the tools to complete my tasks.
Culture
PwC is really about the people. You hear this a lot and think it's repetitive, but you can feel it once you start. The company culture is great and everyone at PwC is extremely inclusive, helpful, friendly yet professional.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed every part of my internship and I believe it is a great experience for a final year student, to understand if the job is suited for them.
Yes
I would advise to research the company's values, being these the most important thing at PwC. In addition, I always encourage to be yourself.
