The Role
Janssen were a great company to work for with much opportunity to work with many teams within the company.
I was given a lot of responsibility on projects which made me feel incredibly valued, I also felt like my opinions were important to the team.
My manager was incredibly supportive and I was able to go to her with any queries, problems and also ideas.
The work varied depending on the time of year but overall it was pretty balanced.
I was probably given more responsibility than the average placement student which I enjoyed.
I found when I returned to my final year I worked a lot harder and could apply what I'd learnt in essays and exams. Additionally it was great to have something more to talk about than my degree in interviews, especially with Janssen being a well known company.
The Company
Generally there was the right balance of fun and work. A number of meals and events were arranged to encourage fun within teams.
I couldn't find a way to improve the placement program Janssen offer. They offer a good salary, bonuses and interesting work.
I received a lot fo training in the first few weeks, with a great first week to introduce us to the company.

I would apply to work for Janssen or Johnson & Johnson again. I feel they are a good company to work for with a good level of success in their sector.
The Culture
There were about 15 placement students which meant we had a good social scene within and outside the company.
It was pretty cheap considering it's close to London.
High Wycombe isn't the best area but there are many surrounding towns and cities to explore.
There were many activities such as three peaks challenge.
