Overview
Working on audits of a range of different clients. A lot of this involved travelling to client's site to work from their office. Daily job revolved around using Excel for completion of tasks.
Skills
Learned a lot about working in a team in a fast paced environment. Job involved a lot of communicating with external clients so developed communication skills too. Opportunity to take training courses/workshops.
Responsibilities
Amount of responsibility grew the longer I was there, started off with very little responsibility when I was initially training but by the end of the placement you could tell the managers trusted more and so gave out more responsibility.
Support & Guidance
Regular chat ups with line manager. Got assigned a buddy before starting too and had catch ups with them too throughout the year.
Culture
Social events took place every few months, also there was a Christmas and Summer gathering/party.
Your Impressions
Overall a fun placement were I learned a lot. Work could be quite stressful at times but with time you get used to the workload. Quite a few opportunities to get involved in social events which was nice.
Yes
Just be yourself and show your personality in the interview, they just want to get to know you to know if you'll be a good fit for the team and work.
