Overview
As a Summer Analyst, most of my responsibilities include research, joining in client calls, taking notes, and updating presentation slides and client communications. In general, the average day includes completing presentation decks and keeping up to date with client and market movements.
Skills
Strongly developed skills with Excel and Powerpoint, while learning new research and communication skills. Gained new acumen regarding Capital Markets.
Responsibilities
I was given a great deal of responsibility - my work often made it into client communications, and I was fortunate to be involved in plenty of client interaction over the course of the internship.
Support & Guidance
The internship provided me with plenty of support and guidance. I was assigned a line manager who was ready to assist my learning and experience, with an option to meet a buddy and mentor to further my network across the company and improve my experience.
Culture
The company culture is very positive. Colleagues are positive and welcoming, with all eager to meet the interns and get to know us. While there is a strong work ethic, the atmosphere is always relaxed and constructive.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my internship, finding I was given strong opportunities to stretch myself and develop, while gaining an insight into the working culture.
