Overview
The core of the role is financial analysis with some accounting and modelling. Day-to-day involves team meetings, personal work and firm-wide sessions and trainings.
Skills
Learned financial modelling, accounting and improved Microsoft office proficiency
Responsibilities
Not much. Was doing rotations so could not deep-dive into one area with much responsibility given to me.
Support & Guidance
Everyone is ready to support. Received training from a dedicated team. Line manager was always open to help. Had a mentor and a grad buddy. Wider team always offered support.
Culture
There are weekly sessions on a variety of topics from diversity and inclusion to ESG. Everyone makes an effort to catch up with you daily. There are also a variety of networks one can join to be part of a wider community.
Your Impressions
The team and company culture were great. I am not sure the work is entirely for me but there are plenty of opportunities to move to more well-suited roles.
