Overview
Dependent on your team, but I have been undertaking mostly UI development using Angular and React. Highly collaborative work in a fantastic office.
Skills
Yes, almost immediately - you learn practical things about software development you can't really get from a University environment.
Responsibilities
They don't hold your hand and you are making actual changes that will impact customers. Having said that, the support is great and everyone is very welcoming to questions.
Support & Guidance
Weekly one-to-ones with my manager and help whenever I need it. Additionally, collaborating with the other interns was highly encouraged and useful.
Culture
Everyone was very approachable and they encourage collaboration and asking questions. Everyone is friendly and the social spaces in the office are great.
Your Impressions
Highly enjoyed and would recommend. Always went into the office and left at the end of the day feeling good.
