Overview
My role as an intern has primarily involved intern related tasks, such as an 'Innovation Bootcamp' for example. My line manager has also tasked me with internal assignments to assist the team and generally make their roles easier.
Skills
It has been great regarding networking and meeting new people, so I've been able to brush up on that. It's also allowed me to develop my tech skills as there is training available for that and the ops team are closely related to the tech team.
Responsibilities
I was given lots of internal responsibility, but in most teams it is difficult to get interns up to pace within the 8 weeks to provide them with massive amounts of responsibility.
Support & Guidance
Lots of help! Everyone around the team, even my line manager are extremely helpful and everybody is always willing to spare some of their time no matter what it is for.
Culture
Great, I can't express enough how welcoming everybody is no matter their role.
