Overview

Responsibilities
Yes - I was given a lot of responsibility and a duty to deliver on those tasks. This in turn gave me a lot of exposure to senior stakeholders and the leadership team. However, this is not the same for everyone
Support & Guidance
The support and guidance is everywhere. people are amazing and always happy to help. This is no exaggeration, they seriously are!
Culture
Brilliant - Many extra curricular activities. Enforce diversity and inclusivity. The campus is beautiful.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed my placement. It was a culture shock but it shown me that i had a blind spot. Let's just say that's definitely gone away.
Yes
Ask about the different roles within a certain area. Do not underestimate the size of a company like Barclays. Don't say i want to do Cyber security, be more specific. For example: Incident Management, Cyber Intelligence, Pen testing. Be sure with what you want!
