    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • For some people it is shadowing and for some people it is actual work that you undertake. I was given work following the first week of training and we would work through the tasks set by a member of an audit team, which we join. For those shadowing, they attended meetings but generally had less to do

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • Given a fair amount of responsibility as I was completing the work of a full time associate, the work was on the easier side generally so that we could have a proper go at completing it.

  • Received a large amount of support and guidance in my time with PwC. You have a 'buddy', as well as a career coach, and you had support from the team you were in as well as any other interns

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Strong company culture, could work from home or office, flexible working hours on a friday you could finish at lunch if you had done your weeks hours. Everyone is very friendly and approachable no matter their level.
