Overview
For some people it is shadowing and for some people it is actual work that you undertake. I was given work following the first week of training and we would work through the tasks set by a member of an audit team, which we join. For those shadowing, they attended meetings but generally had less to do
Skills
Massively developed networking skills and excel skills.
Responsibilities
Given a fair amount of responsibility as I was completing the work of a full time associate, the work was on the easier side generally so that we could have a proper go at completing it.
Support & Guidance
Received a large amount of support and guidance in my time with PwC. You have a 'buddy', as well as a career coach, and you had support from the team you were in as well as any other interns
Culture
Strong company culture, could work from home or office, flexible working hours on a friday you could finish at lunch if you had done your weeks hours. Everyone is very friendly and approachable no matter their level.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it to a large extent, I wish it was slightly longer
