Overview
I assisted in an ongoing Audit as part of a larger engagement team. Mainly my work consisted of lots of Excel work, checking to see if financial statements provided by the audited firm are in line with what the bank statements say.
Skills
Definitely developed my Excel skills and I have learned what an audit actually is.
Responsibilities
Depended on the task, sometimes I felt like the work I was doing was actually going to make a difference, other times I felt like it was pointless.
Support & Guidance
Lots of support and guidance, my team were all super supportive and nice.
Culture
Great culture! Super friendly people, lovely workspace and super funny interns
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it because i was working in a fun place with super nice people, however the actual work itself was often a bit dry.
