Overview
Given work including, but not limited to, working on reports for clients, research for PwC pensions, and helping with admin tasks.
Skills
Developed interpersonal skills such as being confident to ask questions not matter how simple I think they may be.
Responsibilities
When given a task, I was given a brief for the work and left to complete this under my own accord. It was my responsibility to complete this task, asking questions when needed. As well as this, I had to be proactive with finding jobs to do when I was found to have now work.
Support & Guidance
Within the first week there was little support and guidance on where I should work from. The hybrid style work meant that I had a choice but knowing little about my home office and team, this choice proved difficult. Ideally, would've been better to be told where and when to go in. From week 2-4, I had lots of support from my team.
Culture
The company culture has been great - everyone was so welcoming and nice. This makes me want to work for PwC as a graduate.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed the placement. Although sometimes it could be a bit slow since there was little work for me to do at times, overall it was a great experience.
Yes
To be yourself - PwC appreciates all backgrounds and personalities. The interview process isn't as daunting as it seems - recruitment want you to succeed!
