Overview
After a first week of training, interns were then able to experience and work on a live client engagement by joining an auditing team for 3 weeks. Aside from client work, we also completed an intern groupwork challenge where we came up with marketing strategies to help a social enterprise.
Skills
Developed professional skills as well as teamwork and communication. Also increased my auditing knowledge.
Responsibilities
Interns were given responsibilities immediately after our training by allowing us to work on live client engagements (with the support of the auditing team around us).
Support & Guidance
A lot of support and guidance is in place at PwC - a career coach as well as a buddy. The audit engagement team you work with is also always on hand to help you if you have any questions.
Culture
Extremely friendly work culture and environment, you can always never hesitate to ask someone around you for help or guidance on any piece of work you're doing.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed my internship experience due to the work culture at PwC but also due to being given the chance to immediately work on client work. I also really enjoyed being able to communicate with other senior colleagues and working with many different people in the firm. There are also lots of chances to attend social networking events to meet other interns and colleagues which was very nice.
