Overview
• A lot of networking with team members and clients • Business development work, involving carrying out research on different industries • Working on a side project which involved assisting a social enterprise • Took minutes of client meetings • Work shadowing

Responsibilities
Due to being an intern during a relatively quiet period, there wasn’t a lot of work on ground so I could not be given that much responsibility. However, I did have a lot of independence when I assisted members of my team on projects they were working on.
Support & Guidance
I received guidance from everyone on my team. I was assigned a buddy and a career coach early on, so I was well supported and had all my questions answered relatively quickly. Team leaders were friendly, non-judgemental, and more than happy to talk to me if I needed advice or help.
Culture
PwC is a very supportive company to work for and there are many opportunities for progression. Because of the variety of clients and projects there are so many opportunities to gain meaningful work experience. The company is also committed to building trust in the society and solving problems. PwC is an amazing place to work! It's a supportive company that is interested in seeing you thrive and be the best version of yourself. There is a good work life balance in the firm and a relaxed working environment where junior and senior members of the team are able to work together freely. The opportunities that the internship provides in terms of networking, self development and gaining experience are invaluable and I would advise anyone to go ahead and apply despite the rigorous nature of the application process.
