Overview
In my specific role within the team, I was helping with improving processes within one of the NatWest products. This involved conducting analysis, speaking with internal stakeholders and taking part in day-to-day meetings.
Skills
-Learned project management skills and being able to work in Agile frameworks. - Creative thinking and strategising - Stakeholder management and teamwork
Responsibilities
It depends on the role, as being an intern means you have very little experience therefore you may not be able to help as much as you would like to. But I was given a certain degree of responsibility where my work would have contributed to real-world change within the project. The team were always supportive however and would help whenever asked.
Support & Guidance
The support and guidance is excellent. You feel as if NatWest truly cares about you as an employee and as a person.
Culture
Really good. Everyone I met has been really nice and welcoming. Whilst also being there to help when you need them to. It is a very warm and supportive atmosphere.
Your Impressions
I have enjoyed it very much so far. I am enjoying the work I am doing. The team are great to be around and the atmosphere is somewhere you want to be.
