Overview
The E- servicing team focuses on ensuring that customers experience the best service when using online banking. This is achieved by analysing data which gives insight on how customers are interacting with the various services available on the app. Day to day tasks include competitor analysis which involves comparing the company's app to its competitors to see where Lloyds rank. Also, attending meetings where new and innovative ideas are being discussed to update the app in order to improve the customer's experience.
Skills
This role provided a chance to develop my ability to multitask as I was working on various tasks simultaneously. I also had to exercise my adaptability skills as no two days are the same! Although meetings are scheduled ahead of time, there are many spontaneous meetings and tasks throughout the day which makes working here fun. I gained new technical skills as I had to learn how to use software to retrieve data
Responsibilities
On first day I was given a project to independently work on throughout my internship and eventually present it in my last week. I was given support and help my members of my team so it wasn't daunting or overwhelming.
Support & Guidance
I had a meeting once a week with my line manager to discuss anything I needed help with or had questions on as well as different areas of the business I might have wanted to explore in the upcoming week. The wider team were also very friendly - always available to help out or have a chat with. I also had the opportunity to have a mentor which was a good.
Culture
The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed. Everyone is open to talk about anything and there are activities such as ping pong in the office and after work drinks to meet other people in the office.
Your Impressions
Really enjoyed my internship and plan on applying for the grad scheme in the future.
