Overview
I worked with Microsoft Power Platform to help build a organizational system for a disabilities charity. As this was quite a short internship, it mostly focused on learning.
Skills
I have learnt a lot more about Microsoft power platform and what working with clients is like, using agile methods.
Responsibilities
I couldn't get access permissions from the client until very late into the internship so I was mostly shadowing and therefore not given much responsibility
Support & Guidance
My point of contact was extremely helpful and talked me through everything I needed very thoroughly. My 'buddy' and counselor were also very supportive in anything non-project related I needed.
Culture
The culture was quite chill and also encouraged training and personal development
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it, it would have been better if I was able to get onto the project sooner so I could have done some more meaningful work but I understand that was outside of their control.
Yes
Do one of their insight days first because one, it will give you some indication of the experience before joining, and two it will be a slightly easier application route.
