Overview
Organising and managing the programme for EMEA North. This involved liaising with stakeholders, external companies, and the EMEA North mid-market team. I nominated customer success stories and turned them into social videos to be put on a promotional plan. I wrote and created social posts as part of the promotional campaign.
Skills
Presentation skills, communication (written and verbal), data analysis, organisation, project management, teamwork, event planning.
Responsibilities
I was given lots of responsibility. I was in charge of the programme but kept the program lead updated.
Support & Guidance
We were given lots of support from the team in terms of manager 1:1s, a buddy system, free counselling services, and general team support.
Culture
The culture is very supportive and friendly. Everyone is happy to talk and help you with whatever you need.
Your Impressions
My placement was up and down but I loved the last half of the placement when I was really getting the hang of my new role and had a very supportive manager. The intern cohort is large so had lots of social opportunities. The placement team were really supportive and kind.

Definitely apply!! Be aware of what SAP does and the culture here. Be confident, talkative and don’t be afraid to ask questions and network as much as possible.
