Overview
Customer engagements to create a value proposition outlining potential benefits that can be achieved from technology solution implementation. Additionally, a large part is the creative strategic planning for customers and future revenue potential sales plays.
Skills
I’ve learned how to analyse information and data to draw relevant, meaningful conclusions. I’ve massively developed in terms of independence and how to organise and manage my tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
I was surprised by the level of responsibility and independence I was given. I’d be given real life meaningful projects to execute start to finish with a limited level of support which pushed me out of my comfort zone to really develop and try things I wouldn’t of by myself.
Support & Guidance
I received a mixture of level of support throughout my placement. At the start I was given a lot more support as I was learning and navigating through my job role however as I progressed through my placement I was trusted to complete tasks to a high standard so was offered a high level of independence which was very reassuring.
Culture
The company culture is one thing that I’ll miss most about SAP. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, and one of the most noticeable things is that placement students are considered as a member of the team rather than just a temporary helper. Everyone tries to involve you in their projects and are so eager to teach you and offer help if needed.
Your Impressions
I absolutely adored my time here and I’m so gutted to be leaving. I feel like it’s only yesterday that I joined the team and company and it’s just flown by. I’ll miss the people, my role, my team and the amazing offices.
Yes
SAP will change your life and your entire mindset on the world and your future. When I joined I never thought technology would be the route I’d take later in life however now I feel like I have more direction with where I want to go in the future and would consider staying at SAP or going to a partner and staying within the tech landscape
