Overview
I was working on the HMRC account supporting the lead project manager. Helping out with the admin part of the services run for the customer. I would ask the customer to fill out services feedback forms and update recommendations trackers.
Skills
I have learnt how to stakeholder manage. How to email people within my organisation and how to communicate verbally and non verbally with customers.
Responsibilities
I worked with an account executive to develop pipeline and set up meetings with new prospects. I emailed new customers and told them about the products and services and schedules a call with the Account executive.
Support & Guidance
I got loads of support from the roles that I was doing. The steering committee are amazing and it was a great experience.
Culture
It was an ok culture amongst the interns. I didn’t really have much in common with some of them which wasn’t their fault. I just felt like it lacked diversity and that can be fixed for the years to come.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed the placement! It has been great to learn how to manoeuvre in the corporate culture and learn a lot about sales in technology.
