  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Was Much more than I expected

    • I was constantly supported, and advised throughout my placement

    • I was given a large variety of projects to work on.

    • It did range from project to project, but by the end I was asked to project manage an event.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I study Geography, but worked in the IT department, so every new skill I learned will hep towards a future career, and the business experience will help in my final year at uni.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Good, but Monday mornings were a bit slow.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?

    • You had an HR adviser as well as a manager, so I was supported well throughout my placement.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • I wasn't treated as a placement student, but as an co-worker, so was trained and treated like everybody else.

    • I have been extended over summer, so fingers crossed they will take me on after I graduate.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • I feel I have made really good friends with fellow colleagues, and I live and hang out with many of the other placement students.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • I originally come from living in London, to the midlands, everything is a lot cheaper.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?

    • The area has to accommodate Warwick and Coventry and students so it is very good.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?

    • Yep the Social Committee, I joined a local charity. I was involved in raising money through Peugeot for a local hospice.
