Overview
My role included, customer service, sales, business management, fleet logistics and management, operational planning, communication and objection handling
Skills
My communication, planning and leadership skills have all significantly improved. I have developed very useful sales techniques, the ability to deal comfortably with difficult conversations and objection handling.
Responsibilities
I was given lots of responsibility throughout my placement. This included fleet planning and organisation, training new employees and being responsible for resolving many customer service based issues.
Support & Guidance
I received a good amount of support throughout my placement. I had numerous management around me who I could call at any time if I had any issues or queries that I did not know how to complete
Culture
The general atmosphere was great. I worked with incredibly sociable people who are all of a very similar age.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my placement throughout. The people you work alongside are all incredibly sociable and are always on hand to help
Yes
There are many difficult conversations you need to have with regards to general customer service issues. The ability to deal with these conversations are very difficult and uncomfortable to begin with but once understand how to handle these effectively it is a skill that will hold you in great stead moving forward throughout any career you have in the future.
