Overview
Within the data science and innovation team I have learnt how to use python. I then applied this knowledge to perform an exploratory data analysis on a data set in order to improve a model from its basic starter script. There is also further opportunities to get involved with projects outside of the placement with fellow interns, such as fundraising.
Skills
I have learnt some basic coding. I have also developed existing skills such as presenting, teamwork and critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities
I was given my own project to work on but could ask for help when needed.
Support & Guidance
Lots of support and guidance was given but have to not be afraid to ask for help too when needed. There is also a wide range of tools and resources on the intranet which were really useful.
Culture
Company culture was great, everyone was friendly and welcoming. There is also a focus on learning and development which is refreshing to see. There were socials planned too for interns.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time! Learnt lots and have had a great experience :)
