Overview
Inspections of properties, comparable evidence research, research in regards to the properties location, construction, flood risk, epc rating... Aditional tasks such as building VOA schedules, measuring floor plans, taking pictures of the buildings. In my day to day, I go to the office at 9 am, work on the projects that the team is involved in, eat at around 1pm, and i finish work at 5:30. Frequently it involves site inspections in different cities
Skills
Hi have learned and developed many skills, for instance, my literacy in professional reports, organisation throughout the day, as many task are involved with a set deadline and this need to be completed. My IT skills have improved, this is due to the amount of time spent in word and excel. Learnt how to use two softwares that enable calculations of residual developments and rent capitalisation. I have learnt how to do different type of measurements for different types of building uses. Additionally, this is not a skill but I have learnt key things to spot in site inspections which can affect the state of the property.

Yes, I was surprised with the amount of responsibilities I had. This definitely enables me to enjoy and learn/develop valuable skills from the internship.
