The Role
The enjoyment depended on workload, an imperative part of placement is to ensure that you ask for more work if quiet, and to work to your best capabilities.
They were all welcoming and treated you with respect, even making tea for you! They treat you as another employee and not a placement student.
This depended by Manager, but as a rule they were good figures to turn to with any issues or problems, and were good at providing useful feedback for growth and improvement.
This depended upon project basis, I was placed in two roles. One of these had day to day tasks which took up time, and then a few long term projects. The other role was based on projects. These generally took up most of the time, but occassionally there were periods where the workload was not sufficient.
I was given great responsibility throughout the placement in both of the roles I was placed in, I was able to take control of communications, events and campaigns with sole responsibility.
The ability to manage projects and take control of your workload had a significant increase during the placement and will help improve both university work and future roles. Also developed was the ability to work with people of all mangerial levels and backgrounds with ease, and this will benefit for future work and interviews.
The Company
The general atmosphere is friendly and comfortable, but there is a strong work ethic, and a professional environment is promoted.
We were supported well during the set up of the placement and had quarterly training modules as a group of placement students.
We were given quarterly training modules in areas of personal development, managing change etc which were extremley useful and fun.

There is a possibility of being asked back for the final round of the graduate recruiment process with good performance, which is advised within the last week of the role.
The Culture
I lived with 3 other placement students out of 11, and the 11 of us regularly socialised and interacted. There is also a social committee who organise events and trips.
Coventry (the location for PSA and Peugeot) is a cheap area to live in, with low rent, fuel and general costs.
As a student city nightlife is excellent, when the students are about!
There are various clubs, societies, gyms and activites in the surrounding area, as well as good links to Birmingham and London.
