Overview
Being the face of each store. You will serve customers to a high standard, help with fleet planning, day running, selling additional products, delivering and collecting cars. You will also be helping to run the branch you work at with administrative tasks aswell
Skills
This role helped me to develop my customer service skills to a high level, helps with soft skills aswell
Responsibilities
Yes, you are given a high level of responsibility. Personally I have helped to run multiple branches, day running at Southampton airport alone, being part of the Southampton central branch, and various branches in the southwest
Support & Guidance
Had a good level of support and guidance. There are always ways to contact anyone around you for help or advice if needed and every employee helps each other
Culture
Good company culture in terms of support and being easy to get on with. Very target oriented, longer hours than advertised and always fast paced.
Your Impressions
I have had many ups and downs during my placement but it was overall a positive experience. The hours are quite long, with some of the longest weeks worked being around 60 hours. Always expected to do overtime past the 45 hours advertised. Have learnt a good amount, however every day was revolved around meeting targets
Yes
Be prepared for the extensive hours. It was a good experience and have met a lot of very good people. Always in the customer facing roles
