Overview
The role includes a wide range of tasks and duties, from making phone calls and completing admin, to driving and delivering cars, to chasing bad debt, to marketing at local dealerships, no two days are ever the same.
Skills
I have learnt an abundance of new skills, such as improving my customer service and sales skills, decision making especially when under pressure, managing people, chasing bad debt and much more.
Responsibilities
Yes especially towards the end of my internship when I had moved to a quieter branch with just 3 members of staff, I was an integral part of the day to day running of the branch.
Support & Guidance
Monthly one to one meetings with a member of management to track progress and set goals, as well as stage 1, stage 2, stage 3, then mqi tests, after completed have the support to get promoted.
Culture
Everyone gets along very well, regularly see members off staff from other branches in the area, as well as Christmas party, summer ball and various other social events.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement, although being hard work, I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and developed an abundance of new skills, and will also miss everyone I’ve met along the way.
